The Machining Program at °µÍø½ûÇø trains students in manual machining—the process of shaping metal and other materials using lathes, mills, and precision tools. Through hands-on instruction in machining fundamentals, students gain the skills needed to enter high-demand manufacturing careers immediately after graduation. Advanced training and optional specializations further expand opportunities in Southeast Texas’ growing industrial workforce.
