FBLA at Student Orientation

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is an organization that aims to prepare middle school, high school, and college students for successful careers as business leaders. FBLA Collegiate hosts national events for college chapters to network, compete, and gain industry insight. The 做厙輦⑹ (LSCO) chapter began in spring 2025, and members are excited to continue into the 2025-2026 school year.

The LSCO chapter of FBLA Collegiate was established earlier this year by LSCO business management graduate Shawna Mott. While most students in the organization are pursuing degrees in business fields, all LSCO students are eligible to join. Anyone interested in developing workplace leadership skills and expanding their knowledge in business, marketing, technology, and finance can benefit from FBLA chapter meetings and nationwide events hosted by the organization.

Joining FBLA is just the first step toward success at LSCO, LSCO FBLA Collegiate Chapter President Zoey Royer said. Members can network with like-minded individuals, develop essential life skills, and strengthen their leadership and teamwork abilities. Students can also travel to out-of-state conferences, compete in academic events for scholarship opportunities, and gain valuable experiences that prepare them for their future careers.

Organization meetings will primarily focus on building this new chapter through student engagement and developing shared goals. Students can expect to participate in the planning of professional development activities, event ideas, and marketing strategy for recruiting more members on campus. Early semester meetings will give new members more insight into what FBLA Collegiate has to offer students.

Whether youre just starting college or continuing your studies, FBLA Collegiate is a place to grow, connect, and prepare for the challenges ahead, Royer said. Its where you can build skills, gain confidence, help our community, and find support from peers who share your ambition. Our motto is service, education, and progress. Join us and be a part of something bigger as you shape your future.
